The sun is shining and brides all over the country are getting excitable about their special day !!The fashion this year has been unpredictable to say the least !! Throw away those bridal tips magazines and opt for colour and styles that suit you rather than those models!Well that seems to be the way it's going!
No more 'i want one like that' and more of a tailormade bespoke service, brides are looking for something unique to them to really make them feel special .Gone is the traditional shower bouquet and in comes the 'shape' season ............... already this year we have had a heart shaped bouquet which can be seen here , the photo doesnt do it justice i must admit, but its hard to take decent pictures at 4 o'clock in the morning ................. This special design was styled out of beargrass, carnations and lily of the valley, the latter not coping well with refridgeration meant a late nigt and early morning for all involved to keep it looking at its best for the big day ahead!
Burgandy seems to be a BIG colour this year and there is only one flower which fulfils this colour wise which is the black bacarra rose, when open the inner petals are a rich deep burgandy in colour and very luxurious to look at and to touch .....It is one of my personal favourites and lends itself well to both modern contemporary bouquets and for those going for a more Gothic style bouquet, team it with red roses and burgandy calla lillies for a truly Gothic Bride.
